June 7 - Goodbye Party

The Paynes came over  for a camp-out. They are moving so we had quite a party.
Brownies for the Paynes.

Gabe and Daisy Payne getting ready to "shoot" the camera.

Fay Payne on our horse for the last time.

While they were here Shea made himself a machine gun.

The Patrick girls spent the night as well. What fun.

Zach and Lizzy Payne on the horse

The older kids got to eat on top of the container....

....and Grace Patrick wanted to come up.

It's not complete without a pillow fight with Zach.

It rained that night so we all had to sleep inside. But the next morning was wonderful.

As Kacy did the horses some of the kids got into the pond... I mean the horse pen.

Daisy wanted to play on the hay though.

Fay helped feed the horses.

We went back up to the house and played in the big puddle for quite a while.

Goodbye  Paynes We will miss you.

What a fun weekend.

June 14 - Busy Day

On the way to Lubbock today, Rossella saw a turtle on the road. We picked it up, and it was dubbed  Eggbirt.

Some great friends of ours, the Paynes, are moving away. So today all thee GRACE families threw them a party at the park.

Janessa serving cup cakes.

That evening, the people of Brownfield hosted a Relay for Life to help find a cure for cancer. Our pastor is one of the main speakers. Janessa read a poem dedicated to all cancer victims. A mother and Daughter from our church sang a song together that was played at a loved one's funeral.
