August 26 - Good-byes and Optical Illisions

Grandmothers sister, Ruthie, her son, John, and his son, Toby, came over to the church, where we were staying, to say good-bye.

Later we went to the park at a school that is less than a half a mile from Grandmothers house. The boys wanted to do some more optical illusions.

Yikes!!!!

Looooooong Zach.......
.......Taaaaaaaaall Gabe

August 25 - Brother

When Gabe was little, Grandmother got a doll about the same size as Gabe was. For some reason that doll became Gabe's brother, and his hero. Gabe hasn't seen Brother for almost a year, so the first thing he did when we went to Grandmother's house was go play with him.

August 24 - Family Reunion Continued

Cousin Picture. The last time we took a picture like this was over ten years ago and we were about half that size.
The kids all quite a few washer games as well.

Kacy is going to try, Shea isn't helping, thus the frown on her face.

For breakfast Vince cooked pancakes. Don't they look nice?

August 23 - Family Reunion

Rossella's Uncle and Aunt celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this weekend. For three days before the day of the anniversary, the family spent a time of games, camping, and hiking. Us kids got to meat several family members we have never met.
For as long as I can remember, the game washers has been a family tradition.
The couple we are celebrating, Gary and Lillian.
Their daughter, Vicky, and her husband, Vince.
Their niece, Rossella.

Their Nephew, John.

Their Grandnephew, Gabriel.

Several times each day we saw an average of seven buck deer in velvet.

Gary and Lillian's granddaughters, Rebekah and Lynlie (Little ones) and grandniece, Kacy.

Grandnephew, Shea.
