November 1 - New Baby and Science

Some very good friends of ours had a huge blessing happen to them today. A dear, sweet little girl was born today. Her name is Elianna Kathrine Charise Waters. Elianna means answered prayers. This baby is just that, they were sure that they were done with babies. But, as it happens so often, God's plan was different. This is their sixth child, one of which was a miscarriage. The oldest children are a set of twins and they are 8 years old.

For science we were dissecting a frog. Shea got to join in on this one. He was very committed.

The science crew, Minus Shea and Mason.

I think Shea is liking it.

October 31 - Halloween.... I think not

Due to the fact that we haven't got to spend real, good, fun time with the Carroll-Bells, they came over today. They didn't get ready to go trick-or-treating instead they played town. One of the busiest "businesses" was the photo booth.
The spy.
The Union soldier and his lady.
The clothes rack.

The photographer.

The spy, his lady, and baby.

Tonight is also B.R.I.G.H.T. Lights, so here is the Leader.
Here is the fun treat for tonight.

October Creations

Our family's creations from October.
One of Janessa's beautiful floral arrangements.

This is the beautiful cake that Janessa made for Garrett and Kacy's birthday.
On day the boys got the idea that they would like to be dinosaurs.

Garrettosaur

and the Sheaotops

At family fun night, they were doing face painting.

Shea found this old, cheap clock so what else could he do but fix it up with a new face and a stand.

As a group effort, the boys made a mythological world.

A couple of dwarfs and a wolf.

A water nymph.

More wolves.

One of the family's favorites, the Minotaur.

The centaurs.

A gold mine.....

....with an elf to mine it.

Way to go boys it look awesome.

A lego hedgehog.

Kacy had several pair of over sized jeans. So she refashioned some of them into this skirt

Here is the finished civil war hat.

Well done Shea.
The boys decided to surprise us this morning with a centaur.
