July 8 - July 13 - B.R.I.G.H.T. Lights Conference

Janessa and few of her B.R.I.G.H.T. Lights girls went to the B.R.I.G.H.T. Lights conference in Carrollton.
This is the house we stayed in. Thank you to the family that let us stay with you.

Sydney....along with the rest of us liked seeing water.

There were cicadas everywhere.

Every conference the speaker, Sarah Mally, does a chalk drawing while some of the girls give testimonies.

July 4 - Fireworks.... What else.

The Patricks came over tonight and we shot off fireworks.

Emmie is having as much fun as the rest of us.

June 25 - Anniversary

Yesterday Dan and Rossella have been married for 19 years. Janessa had the idea to make a banner out of old wood for them and the rest of the kids helped with it.
TO THE KINGDOM!
AND TO THE RESTORATION!
Later that day, Janessa surprised us by making gingerbread dough. We got busy decorating.

Happy Anniversary Daddy and Mommy!!!

June 22 - June 25 - In Colorado

Rossella and out pastor's family, the Patricks, went to a Bible study that Rossella's dad does in Colorado. One of the things they did while they were there was go to the river.

They found a tree that a beaver got a hold of.

They look like they are enjoying themselves.
Here are a few pictures of the bible study, which took place in a cabin in the middle of the woods.
They all became fast friends.

Emmie "braiding" Rossella's hair.

Thank you for the time you put into this Grandpa.

Some wild turkeys came really close... almost close enough for the girls to feed them out of their hands.

The guess book in the cabin has had our name in it since November 25, 1995. Janessa would have been 4 months old.

Janessa was also baptized here.

The last time we were here was June 7, 2010.

They went to a small old fashioned town for lunch.

This is the farm where Rossella's mom grew up.
It was a wonderful week full of memories.
