Josie's mamma said that she could spend the night with us after she got all her school done for the semester. Yesterday she came to fulfill that promise, and good thing she did. This morning while we were doing chores she saw that Banner was hurt on the leg. Closer examination showed that he had several minor cuts on his legs, two major cuts on his flank, and one really bad cut under his belly. Most of his cuts didn't need much doctoring, but the one under his belly was really bad. It was about three inches deep. We brought him up with his mamma, and tied her up to graze.

| She held onto Banner while we attached ropes to his legs so we could throw him. |

| All the boys and Josie helped keep him quiet while Kacy and Mamma treated the wounds. |

| As soon as we let him up he went right away to take his antidepressant. |
We had gotten lots of rain this week so the puddle was full. The younger ones played in it for quite a while.
After showers and clean clothes, five very tired kids sat down to watch a movie. The boys very graciously let Josie pick the movie. They got a healthy dose of Disney princesses.

Banner is almost completely healed, and is a spunky as usual. It was a wonderful sleepover. Everyone loves the idea of having little sisters.
