December 31 - Day #6 of the Bible Story Seminar

We hit the last day of the study with some remorse and some rejoicing. It has been a wonderful time of learning and fellowship with family. It seems like we have all grown closer together than ever.

Pogues led worship this morning.

Grandpa is explaining how Israel is camped, while we are studying Revelation.

The picture of the students and the teacher. Thank you so much Grandpa, Grandmother, Aunt Lyda, Uncle Dad, Aunt Allison, Momma, Daddy, and all the cousins for making this possible.

As we were taking the picture, Kacy was standing on a stool. But when we got done, she fell and broke the stool. No one was hurt, but it did cause quite a bit of merriment.....mostly at her expense. :)
Zach had brought his swards, but he had not gotten to spar with the other boys like he had hoped for yet. Tonight, while the parents we putting together a New Year's meal, they had at it.

Zach and Conner going at it hard.
The spectators seem to be having as much fun watching the fight as the fighters.
Boone is filming all the tricks and quirks of the fighters.

We played songs to help the fighters get into it (as if they needed it, but it did add to the effect), and when one of Shea's favorites would come on this was his face.

The two next fighters are getting ready.

Darby was nominated the "princess" and started the fights.

Lots of filming happening.
After the boys were thoroughly worn out we were called int supper.

Zach saw an opportunity for a three generation picture.

Shea found a whole new use for candy corn.

Conner had made a four hour movie of Grandpa and Grandmother's life, but he was not quite done with it. So he made a forty-five minute preview of it. We loved it. Thank you Conner for putting that together.

The day, month, year, and seminar ended with all of us watching man made fireworks from the window of the church, at the neighbor's house. And God made fire works in the sky. We watched for shooting stars while we were waiting for the New Year. About three or four minutes from the New Year we all got together, joined hands in a circle, and prayed the New Year in.
