This evening the boys and Kacy decided to try to make silly putty. It is so fun to make because the reaction happens so fast. Here are the directions we used.

| 4 oz of glue mixed in 4 oz of water. We added some food coloring for some other color. If there was no coloring it would be white |

| 2 tablespoons of Borax dissolved in 1 cup of warn water is added to the mixture of glue and water. |

We used several types of glue to make this, and we found that the ordinary Elmer's school glue works best. We used glitter glue, clear glue, non-washable, and washable glue. The washable worked the best and the non-washable was good too.
